Welcome to the Central Iowa Chapter of the
American Truck Historical Society Website
The American Truck Historical Society (ATHS) is an organization dedicated to the history and preservation of trucks and the
trucking industry.  It was formed in 1971 and is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri.  The ATHS has ninety nine local
chapters in the United States, Canada, and Australia.  There are over 23,000 members worldwide.

Many of the members own antique trucks, but ownership of a truck is not required to join, only an interest in old trucks and
trucking.  The policy of the ATHS is that there is no judging or trophies awarded at shows, that no one truck is better than
another, no matter how old or restored it is.  All trucks are welcome for a fun filled day of enjoying each other's trucks.
Membership in the national is a prerequisite for joining a local chapter
